Designing to transform.
SAME Architects is an Architecture and Interior Design studio founded in 2018 by Paulo Santos and Ana Mendonça. Based in Braga and active in the United Arab Emirates, it focuses on Europe and the GCC countries.
We see Architecture and Interior Design as inseparable parts of a single vision. It is an approach that runs through every type of project we take on (Residential, Commercial, Public Facilities and Mixed Use), where each space grows out of an overall idea and each detail adds to the identity of the whole.
Working across such different contexts means listening to each place before we design it. Every project starts from its context, its light, its materials, its brief and its people, and we lead it ourselves from the first sketch to the last construction detail.
From Architecture to Interior Design, there is only one design: the building and the space it holds are thought through together. We do not apply formulas. We ask questions.
The result is spaces unlike any other, because they were born from questions no one else asked.
