Architecture At Villa Ethereal, the structure defines the image. A continuous, sculptural white ribbon folds over itself to shape the house, its balconies and its interiors, and opens the home to natural light.
It is this light that gives body to a sensual silhouette, moulded by curved movements that define the entire structure of the house.
The boundary between vertical and horizontal planes fades away, creating the illusion of a single, endless structural element. The usual ideas of wall and floor are called into question: it is no longer possible to say where one ends and the other begins. The design seeks the continuous and the infinite, a structure that draws us into its curves and gives the façade a strong sense of movement.
The exterior is mirrored in the interior spaces. True to its tectonics, the house gives its interior curved surfaces that create a unique sense of space, where the form of the structure is felt inside as much as outside.
Against the mass that forms the shell of the house stand the vertical glazed surfaces. Their transparency brings lightness to the whole and strengthens the presence of the continuous structure.
